The broad theme of the 2010 Media Sandbox has now been announced, building towards the launch of the competition proper in February. In the interim the Sandbox will be holding events to set the context and define its 2010 theme: ground-breaking ideas that dovetail mobile, wireless and sensory technologies with content and context, to create meaningful experiences.
Media Sandbox 2010 will build on the successes of the previous two projects which sparked innovations in pervasive and multiplatform media, from ARG’s to mobile applications to digital installation. From experimental beginnings new products, services and ultimately business revenues have been generated.
