The winning projects for Content Across Continents 2011 have been formally announced at Broadcast Asia today in Singapore.
Following the call for proposals at Asia TV Forum in December 2010 an expert panel, including representatives from BBC, Demand Media and Group M has selected two projects to receive development funding:
Electric Village is a collaboration between UK production company, Hummingbird Films and Moving Images in Singapore. Electric Village uses innovative social media techniques within a digital “magazine” platform to bring together the latest and the best in design, music and technology content from across the globe.
Heavenly Mysteries is a collaboration between Webby Award-winning production company Interactive Video in the UK, and production company Very! in Singapore. Heavenly Mysteries is built on an innovative TV / HD web interface, which provides a stunning exploration of the temples of Bali, Thailand and Cambodia.
They will now begin a phased development process, to build financial frameworks, audience interaction models and routes to market – connecting their innovative concepts to the rapidly converging world of digital communications
