Mark is an independent consultant concentrating on the development of projects combining creative media and digital technologies, with a specific focus on making strategic connections to international markets.
A senior manager and producer with 25+ years experience across the creative and media industries, working in both commercial business and public sector, two key themes have categorised his career: the combination of content and emerging digital technologies; and the connection of creative business to international markets.
Having established Mark Leaver Consulting in 2010, Mark is now pursuing new opportunities which explore the evolution of the media landscape in a digital age, and the potential offered to the creative media industries across a globalised economy.
Current projects include:
- Creative Industries Adviser for UK Department for International Trade advising on inward investment by global creative and digital businesses;
- Creative / Digital Adviser to Invest Bristol + Bath / West of England Combined Authority defining and delivering strategic sector interventions;
- Development of the Global Partners innovation project, matching major international media corporations and UK SMEs in collaborative R&D via UKRI’s Audience of the Future programme.
